Route |
The starting point is at the St. Radegund bridge near St. Lorenzen in the Lesachtal Valley. From there, follow the Radegunder Bach stream for approx. 3.25 km to Tuffbad. Then head in the direction of the Wieser Alm (offering food and drink), which you reach after approx. 2.5 km. After another 1.65 km, you finally reach the summit of the Samalm. Run back along the same path you used to reach the summit for about 300 m, but do not turn left at the crossroads, instead continue straight ahead. The trail continues almost dead straight for about 4.25 km in a southeasterly direction to the hamlet of Xaveriberg, around which you turn around and run to Wiesen. From Wiesen it is about 780 m back to the starting point. |
